This carefully restored (2018) 1950 Chevrolet 3100 5-window pickup is a well-designed package of cosmetic, mechanical and suspension upgrades. The exterior received a 2-stage respray Crystal Blue Turquoise and the bed was refitted with oak wood slates and stainless trim. Chrome Ridler 5-spoke alloys (18”f/19”r) mount Delinte performance radials and all chrome is excellent. Horsepower is provided by a 5.3L LS1 powerplant. This low-mileage 2004 Chevy motor has never required a rebuild. These motors were factory equipped with 6-bolt mains, aluminum heads, fuel injection and hydraulic roller cam. Cooling requirements are managed by a heavy-duty radiator w/electric fan and exhaust passes through a free-flowing stainless system. The LS1 is backed by a GM 4L60 automatic transmission w/stock torque convertor that provides power to a differential with nice street gearing. The chassis has been retrofitted with a Mustang II front end that adds rack/pinion power steering. The suspension has been lowered and leaf springs are incorporated in the rear. Brakes are power 4-wheel disc units. The interior is fitted with a comfortable 60/40 cloth bench seat and nice carpeting. The refinished dash houses a full set of factory gauges and AM radio (additional aftermarket gauges are also fitted). A custom air conditioning system has been installed and the tilt column mounts a custom spoke wheel and column shift. All window glass is tinted and in good condition.
